The story of how one frustrated builder created the brand he couldn't find.

My name is Tony Melasco, and BrixKrieg exists because I got tired of being disappointed.
I was eight years old, Christmas morning, 2005. My parents gave me LEGO's King Vladek's Dark Fortress. I loved it - but what fascinated me even more was the history books on my shelf.
I was obsessed with WWII. I spent countless hours reading about tanks, studying documentaries, sketching vehicles from combat photos. My grandfather had served in the war, and his stories connected me to this era in a profound way.
But LEGO refused to make military sets.
Fast forward twenty years. I'm an engineer now -still building at night, still that kid at heart. But I spent years chasing the perfect tank model.
I tried budget brands from overseas -cheap stickers, fragile builds, 3-month shipping. I tried premium European brands -amazing quality, but impossible to get in the U.S. without waiting forever.
I kept returning sets. I kept feeling disappointed.
One night, I realized: If I couldn't find the tank model I deserved, maybe I was supposed to build it.
That's when BrixKrieg was born.
We're not just selling models. We're preserving legacy, one brick at a time.
