Tiger II - Heavy Tank
$95.99 USD
The Tiger II was a German heavy tank used during World War II, Nicknamed Königstiger, meaning Bengal tiger or "King Tiger" in German. Only 492 units were produced. The sole operational example is exhibited at the Musée des Blindés in Saumur, France. The Tiger II was the successor to the Tiger I, combining the latter's thick armour with the armour sloping used on the Panther medium tank. Virtually invincible to frontal attack, the Tiger II struck fear into Allied armor columns.
