"Red Devils" 1st Airborne Infantry - Brown
Denison Smock, Brown Variant
British paratrooper in maroon beret with Parachute Regiment cap badge (Bellerophon on Pegasus) and Denison Smock in brown/earth-tone pattern. Lee-Enfield rifle and 1st Airborne Division patch on the left arm.
The "Red Devils" earned that nickname in Tunisia when German paratroopers saw their ferocity and refused to believe they weren't specially selected devils in disguise. The Denison Smock was designed in 1941 specifically for airborne operations - windproof, snag-resistant during jumps, and effective camouflage once on the ground.
This is Arnhem. This is Market Garden. This is A Bridge Too Far made real.
Pad-printed Denison Smock pattern with authentic Parachute Regiment insignia and airborne equipment configuration.
